Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates (LIA) is in its tenth year of partnering with immigrants, refugees, survivors, asylum seekers, and those with limited or no status to determine remedies, to provide expertise, and to walk alongside their clients as they traverse the tricky landscape of US immigration policy.
Strength In Stories is LIA’s annual event honoring the courage, resilience, and hope found in immigrant experiences. This year’s event is on Tuesday, June 17 from 6pm to 8pm at Tanglewood Winery in north Holland.
Strength In Stories is a poignant evening celebrating the triumphs and challenges faced by immigrants. While we often hear about the hardships endured, this event shines a light on resilience, perseverance, and the transformative power of community and welcome. By attending and supporting this event, you will be part of a narrative that reminds our community of the beauty and strength found in immigrant stories.
Join us to hear inspiring personal stories and to celebrate the strength and tenacity that define these remarkable journeys.
This event is designed for Lightkeepers of ALL ages and registration is totally FREE, including and a ticket for a meal at the Wok Me Up Food Truck thanks to LIA sponsors! There will be plenty of water or non-alcoholic drink options available for those who do not wish to purchase items from the winery.
