PRIDE: A Community Gathers in Support

A beautiful, sunny day, a nice breeze off Lake Macatawa, and live music made the 2025 Holland Pride Festival a delight—and very well attended! Congratulations to Out on the Lakeshore, the organizers of the event!

The array of vendors was impressive, from church booths to banks, adoption agencies to food trucks, and arts and crafts vendors to a wide variety of social service agencies. It illustrated that Holland is a caring community with dedicated volunteers who give of their time to help our residents thrive. We are thankful that so many area businesses and organizations recognize that everyone belongs and that we can address the challenges we face.

At the Holland Zeeland Indivisible booth, we introduced our organization to many and met members of chapters in Saugatuck, Douglas, Grand Rapids, and further afield. We distributed pocket U.S. Constitutions, flower leis, colorful candy, and stickers. A number of people purchased No Kings magnets or yard signs, and we collected several pages of new email addresses to add to our member mailing list.

We are all in this together! Let’s support each other and make this a community where all are valued, and all belong.
