On June 14, there were No Kings rallies in 2,100 cities across the nation, including every state, as well as in 27 countries. It’s estimated that over 5 million people joined in what is (currently) the third largest protest in our country’s history!

There was so much energy that day—It filled our hearts not only to see so many people in our own community, but also to see the photos and videos of other communities joining together to loudly and collectively say that we cherish Democracy, and we will work to keep and protect it!

On October 18, we have an opportunity to do it again—this time even bigger.

Since June 14, a lot has happened. ICE has worked to spread fear and terror. Courts have ruled that some deportations are illegal and have even stopped planes headed for other countries. The “One Big Beautiful Bill” was passed, and people across America have made it known that they are not happy about it. Troops were sent to L.A., and the people showed up to voice their disagreement. The National Guard was sent to DC, where they were recorded picking up trash and spreading mulch. Texas voted to gerrymander the state so that the Republicans could pick up five more seats (at the request of the President, no less!), and the Texas Democrats bought time and brought attention to the matter by leaving the state for about two weeks. California responded with its own plan to gerrymander. Actions by and on behalf of this administration continue in an effort to control the outcome of the 2026 midterms, while special election after special election continues to show that the country is not having it. And let’s not forget about Epstein (or let this administration forget about it)!
